Fort Garry MB Church has decided to move forward in exploring the possibilities of
"daughtering a church".
As outlined in our congregational meeting early in March 2011, the four
stages of that moving forward are: defining, listening, discerning and communicating. We
are calling this 4 phase venture, "Ready-Send-Go"
As we continue to move forward, we are transitioning to the LISTENING stage. Listening for what? The voice of Jesus. Jesus says in John 10:27, "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me..." Although most Christians throughout the centuries have not heard the audible voice of God, they certainly have heard Jesus in many times and in many ways. Most often through the Holy Scriptures. But also through dreams, visions, songs, art, other believers, impressions, coinciding circumstances, promptings and other means.
